This is a unique opportunity to create a holiday or event to suit all occasions in a very special location.
The location allows guests to get away from it all and connect with each other and nature with peace and quiet in mind. This would suit Families who want to spend time together having old fashioned fun. Or for those on a Retreat where quiet contemplation and reflection around the campfire is required. It is also suitable for a larger Event, Country, Bohemian or Festival style Wedding, Birthday or Hen Party, Hag Party or other larger Gathering. The place is very safe for young children as there are no roads nearby just fields. There is space too for family games and activities. Our fields give access to nearby walks by the river where wild swimming takes place on sunny days, the orchards and to the village, shop and great local pub.
Larger parties can also hire the Bell tents and Cabin together as they are relatively near to each other which would mean the whole site is entirely yours.
The field lends itself to Weddings as there is space for a Marquee, Tipi tent, Raj tent or similar. The wedding can be uniquely tailored as every aspect from the Marquee to the flowers can be individually chosen rather than a bought ‘package’ and we are happy to assist in the planning if required.
We have an arrangement with local marquee supplier Adams Marquees Ltd so please contact Tod at email@example.com to discuss your requirements. He knows the site well and what combinations/options work well.
Our Wedding Offer of £3200 consists of the use of the entire Belltent Glamping site for 4 days from Thursday through to Monday for setting up, decorating and taking down the Marquee. It will cover the use of all our 5 large Belltents (up to 4 in beds in each) for the 4 nights and the Log Cabin (up to 5 in beds ) for the 3 nights Friday through to Sunday. This will also allow other guests to camp with their own facilities in the long field we call The Strip so everyone can be part of the celebrations onsite. Campers are priced at £30 per tent/camper van per night.
Our smaller Belltent and 2 Crash Pads can be hired at an additional charge of £40 and £50 each per night respectively. The site will be exclusively yours during this time and the wildflower field will be perfect for photos and games or additional gazebos, mini marquees etc. The Tipi can be decorated and used accordingly.
The Bride and Groom can also have one of our Vintage Sprite caravans located in a secluded part of the site for their private space and a cosy wedding night and this can be suitably decorated. They are also ideal for photos. Please note, the smaller Sprite 400 is not suitable for anyone over 6 foot tall (for the bed) or quite ‘big’. People back in the 60’s must have been quite trim!! The larger Bohemian styled one has a full sized double bed however!
The covered barn could be used as a bar ( we have a rustic bar available) or lounge area.
The Glamping site facilities will be available for the Belltent guests but extra toilets/ showers and larger scale catering equipment/refrigerated storage/washing up facilities will have to be provided in addition and we have local suppliers we would recommend for these.
We are passionate about recycling and our environment and provide ample bins for such but food waste must be removed by the caterers.

Anniversaries, Family reunions or Friends reuniting are all possibilities due to the flexible nature of the location and we can discuss any special requirements necessary. As the land around has been set up as a nature reserve this lends another dimension to the area and may be of special interest to some visitors. This is the reason for our ‘no dogs’ policy.
Glastonbury Festival week allows us to offer an ‘off site’ boutique Glamping experience within easy reach of the Bath and West Park and Ride facility. The Festival site at Pilton is only 5 miles away.
Please note tickets for the Festival must be bought separately.
We also have various contacts who can provide speciality cakes, general provisions or catering such as Hog/Lamb/Beef roasts or BBQ’s for larger numbers. We can provide Hampers or other speciality gifts on request. We also have a list of suggested activities for Hen parties too.
